Is Psilocybin legal?

Yes. In Colorado, authorized natural medicine may be used by adults (21+ years old) for personal exploration and treatment of certain conditions supported by scientific evidence, including treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, trauma, and related mental health concerns, in accordance with state law and approved therapeutic frameworks. The Natural Medicine Health Act outlines the laws for use in CO, and includes requirements that consumption of the medicine by a participant take place at a licensed healing center under the supervision of a licensed facilitator.

Mindful Elevation is a Colorado-licensed Natural Medicine Healing Center (NMHC#00044), meaning it is an approved facility where legal natural medicine services may occur. The center provides professional space for independent licensed facilitators to conduct preparation, guidance, administration, and integration support sessions for clients in a safe environment always.
Where is the healing center located?

Mindful Elevation Healing Center is located in Evergreen, Colorado, about 45 min. from Denver, 50 min. from Boulder, and 1 hr from the airport. The lakeside setting overlooks mountains and valley scenery, and both session rooms offer peaceful views designed to support calm, comfort, and reflection during your visit with us.
Am I required to meet with one of your facilitators?

You are not required to choose one of our facilitators. You may select anyone from our network or invite another licensed facilitator to use our space. Clinical oversight is coordinated by Elevation Psychology PLLC in collaboration with mental health and medical professionals when appropriate for safety and ethics.
How are appointments conducted?

All preparation, integration, and consultation appointments may be completed virtually or in person, while medicine journeys occur onsite. In-person sessions are available at our San Antonio, Texas clinic or our Evergreen, Colorado healing center, depending on your preference, scheduling needs, and clinical recommendations.
Do you take health insurance?

We currently do not accept insurance and operate on a private-pay basis. Accepted payments include cash, debit, credit cards, or Apple Pay. Invoices can be provided for certain clinical services so that you may request reimbursement directly from your insurance provider (Note: Reimbursement is only possible for non-medicine administration sessions conducted by clinical facilitators).
How do I get started?

To begin, contact us to schedule a complimentary fifteen-minute consultation call where we review your goals, needs, and ask some screening questions. If appropriate, we then arrange a mental health intake and medical clearance with our clinical team to prepare safely for services before any sessions are officially scheduled thereafter.
